Washi tape AHA moment

November 13, 2016 By Kim McGillis Leave a Comment

So many samples from Stampin'up! products are posted on Pinterest.  I loved the idea of a tag class with the Mason Jar.  Something very similar was posted on Pinterest and it inspired me.  I love bling and embellishment and like to add my twist on things.   Lots of my customers don't know how to use the washi tape available in the catalogues.  So many opportunities exist.    As I was preparing my class, I had this aha moment, a light bulb went on in my brain.  THE WASHI TAPE fit perfectly around the lid… I was so excited.  It embellished the jar perfectly and coordinated with the colors used.

My mother in law brought me a bunch of mason jars on Thanksgiving.  With the proper embellishments, these make the perfect hostess or teachers gift for the holidays. If you want to make easy quick tags for the holidays, the merriest wishes stamp set and merry tags framelits dies is perfect. It's also available in as a bundle, you save an additional 10%.

For this tag, I used the pretty pines thinlits dies #141851.  To make my pines so shiny, I used the copper foil sheets available in the holiday catalogue #142020.  I'm hoping Stampin up brings these sheets in future catalogues.

If you haven't gotten the new in colors, you are missing out, the emerald envy is a perfect holiday color.  it also coordinates well with cherry cobbler. There's a ribbon bundle in the holiday catalogue , the 3/8" silky taffeta ribbon combo pack #141989.  It's 5 yards of cherry cobbler and 5 yards of emerald envy.

Jordan truly enjoyed our trip the the local bulk barn store, she took this opportunity to get her favorite candies.  If you don't want to put candies in the jars, the perfect option would be to add your favorite cookie recipe.  I made 6 different tag designs, but today I'm only sharing this one.  I've got so many projects on the go and can't wait to update you.

Below you will find the list of products and current sales that are happening for November.
