Hello Crafters, Bonjour!
Happy Monday and Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians!
How can it be July already? I hope you are enjoying your summer as much as I am. This month brings a new color fuser blog hop. I’m so excited about this hop since it features an amazing color challenge. Designers can use a combination of black, white and one color of their choice for their project. No rules when it comes to how to apply the colors.
Let’s Hop around the world with our group of talented demonstrators. We’ve created designs from our July color challenge using Stampin’up! Colors.
You may have just arrived here from my lovely friend Tami Hewlett from the United States. I totally love her card. She features the Spotlight on Nature Bundle. At the bottom of the page there is Color Fuser Badge to guide you to the next blog. You don’t want to miss our July color challenge which focuses on White, Black and one color of our choice.
Bundle of Choice for my card:
Wildflower Design Bundle that is also available in French and called Lot Fleurs Sauvages.
I choose the Wildflower Designs Bundle from Stampin’up!’s Annual Catalogue. You can find this bundle on page 41. I love the soft images that you can watercolor in so many ways.
I choose a color combination of White, Black and the new 2024-2026 in color Pretty In Pink.
Instructions:
- Cut a 4 1/4″ x 11 piece of Basic White cardstock and score at 5 1/2″
- Cut a piece of 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8 ” Pretty in Pink cardstock and adhere to the cardbase
- Cut a second piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and emboss with the coordinating Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card.
- Cut a 3″ x 4″ a piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp flower images and spec images from the Wildflower Designs Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink and adhere to the right of the card
- Color the stamped images with a Water Painter and Pretty In Pink Ink
- Add a strip of 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper, the stamped greeting in Tuxedo Black Ink from the Wildflower Designs Stamp Set as well as a Black Baker’s Twine Essential
To step it up: Add Wink of Stella to the flowers. Add coordinating 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems and don’t forget to embellish your envelops with the coordinating designer series paper.
Next on the hop is my talented friend Bonnie O’Neil. I adore her card! It features the Layers of Beauty Bundle. Click on the Blog Badge below to get to her blog.
Hope you are enjoying our Hop!
