Simple Cardmaking with Stampin’ Up!’s Shining Stars Dies

Before I get into today’s project, I thought I’d share a little life update!
I’ve been playing catch-up on quite a few things lately. Two weeks ago, Riley needed emergency surgery, which meant shifting our priorities and giving her all the attention, care and love she needed. At pretty much the same time, we also had a mini move to London, Ontario!
It’s been a lot to juggle in such a short amount of time, and let’s just say life has been a little chaotic around here. Between caring for Riley, moving, trying to get back into my regular routine and, just for a little extra fun, perimenopause deciding to kick into full swing, there’s never a dull moment! 😂
But that’s life sometimes, isn’t it? You just have to grab those lemons and make lemonade! I’m slowly catching up, finding my rhythm again and making a little time for the things I love — including getting back into my craft room.
And speaking of creating, I have a fun and simple card to share!
A Little Sparkle, A Little Creativity, and a Whole Lot of Fun!
Sometimes the simplest cards are the ones that bring the most joy!
For this project, I paired the Shining Stars Dies, October’s Product of the Month from Stampin’ Up!, with the beautiful Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper to create a card that comes together with just a few simple elements.

I also incorporated the Graceful Evergreen Deer Hot Foil Dies, adding another touch of detail and elegance to the design.
Color Combination:
One of the things I love most about cardmaking is that it doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t need dozens of supplies or hours of crafting time to make a card you’ll be excited to send.
