Step up card ideas

Hi crafters! Bonjour!

It’s been a while since I posted here. Today, I wanted to highlight the Love You Always Suite from the mini catalogue. It’s a beautiful collection that you can use all year long. I created these cards a couple weeks ago and I’ve been wanting to post them here.
I wanted to show how you can make step it cards: What type of cards are these?: Beginner, Casual and Avid. You can find different ideas of step it cards in the mini catalogue as well on the following pages: 14,38,52,60 and 64.

Beginner:

For the beginner card:

Cut a piece of True Love designer series paper.
From the Floral Heart Dies, cut the heart border in basic black cardstock.
Mount on Whisper White cardstock
Add Linen Thread.
Stamp a greeting from the Always In My Heart Stamp Set in Black Stazon Ink.
Embellish with the leftover hearts from the heart border.

Casual:

To upgrade the card:

Add Floral images from the True Love Designer Series Paper.
Add foliage from the Floral Heart Dies.
Embellish with the Opal Rounds or you can the Matte Black Dots that coordinate with the Love You Always Suite.

BTW, Black and White DSP like the True Love Designer Series Paper is my ultimate favorite. Why? It’s so versatile. You can Color the images and blend them with any Color combination.

Avid:

Step up your card by adding color to it.

Color the True Love Designer Series Paper with the Rococo Rose and Old Olive Stampin’Blends Combo.
I added Wink of Stella in the middle of my flower.

BTW, Don’t forget to stock up on the in Colors that are leaving us soon. The 2019-2021 in color collection was my favorite.
