Hello Crafters, Bonjour!
How was your weekend? I had a great time decorating outside since the weather was so mild. I also had a coffee date with my hubby. We went to the gym together. I attended the Annual Louis Riel Vigil. After the ceremony, Chris and I attended a dinner at the RCMP Heritage Center where we ate the most amazing homemade chicken vegetable dumpling soup and bannock. I learned so much about the Metis Culture.
12 Weeks of Christmas, Week 8:
Today starts week 8 of My Christmas Series. I am featuring the Nests Of Winter Suite Collection. I love this collection cause it doesn’t feel as much christmas-ish… and I can use it for other occasions especially in the winter months. It’s so practical, especially with our Canadian Winters… I feel I can relate to this collection.
For our first card, it was all about layers and a little papercrafting surgery.
The day I saw the entire Suite Collection, I knew I had to get it. I love the neutral tones, the textures and the bird theme. I love to use linen thread on my creations and to have 3 new colors in neutral tones was so appealing. Also, both sides of the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper are stunning.
For all of these reasons, I knew I had to make it a papercrafting event featuring the Nest of Winter Suite Collection.
I have 3 spots left for my class in person in Ontario or my kits to go. You can check out the details HERE.
