Queen Bee Card Creation

Hello Stampers, Bonjour!

And Hello February…. I’m so excited for this month, but I’m even more excited to share my crafting project today. The Accent Creatif Team has created amazing projects for February. We went all out! We are a group of demonstrators from France, Quebec and me from Ontario, Canada that create monthly tutorials. With a minimal $60 order, customers can get 10 tutorials for FREE. It requires lots of dsp pieces.  The card might look complex but it’s not.  Don’t be fooled, it’s a simple card to make.

On page 26 of the mini catalogue, there is a beautiful stamp set called Queen Bee.  It has Queen Bee coordinating dies .  When I saw it, I told the group, this is the collection I want to work with. My main reason was that the stamp set includes images that are easy to layer.  I Love to stamp in layers.  What I mean by this comment is stamping an image on a piece of cardstock, then adding another image and an other….

My greetings are in French because I used the French set.  But you can recreate this exact card using the Queen Bee English stamp set.  I love when Stampin’up! makes these collection in both languages.

The first thing I did when I started to create the card, was choose a designer series paper. The Regency Park 6″x 6″ was my number once choice.  I based my entire color combination from the dsp selection.  I also used the coordinating jewels called Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots.  Adding bling to Miss Bee was a must….

Color Combination:

To create a wow factor, I added stamping elements on the inside too. The Very Best Trio punch was from the holiday catalogue but it got carried over and you can still purchase it.  Look at the image below.  Adding beautiful punched out corners is a must to the inside of your cards.
