Pineapple love…

in 2016, Canada, Cards, Kim Assaly, Ontario demonstrator, Stampin' Up! on 06/27/16

Here is one more sample from the pop of paradise stamp set. (#141581 in clear or #141578 in wood)  In this card I used the pineapple from the stamp set. It's adorable.  Pineapples are really in right now.  When shopping in stores, they are everywhere, on clothes, glasses, pens and papers…. I stamped one pineapple with melon mambo ink (#126948) and cut it out, with my scissor snips.  These scissors are the bomb!(#103579) They are perfect for precision cutting…  I added dimensionals (#104430)  and elevated the image to create dept.  The other two pineapples were stamped with pink pirouette ink. (#126956)     The pink polka dot paper and the black & white zigzags are from the pop of pink specialty designer series paper. (#141648).  Once again, I love layering the same tone of cardstock on top of each other to create dept in my card.  I used whisper white cardstock. (#100730) This card was simple to do and the designer paper was a beauty just on it's own.  The card coordinates perfectly with the one made in my last post. They are the perfect set to give away.

My Second card, includes the large Pineapple stamp (#141746 in clear) suggested clear block to use would be F  (#118483) or if you prefer the wood pineapple stamp set (#141743)  Designer paper are the same as listed above and ink as well. For this stamped image, i wanted to create a ombre look.  Therefore I stamped the pineapple in pink pirouette first, then used a sponge dauber (#133773) and stamped melon mambo ink directly on the rubber.  And voila!!!  I also added melon mambo thick baker's twine as embellishment. (#141689)  To adhere the bow, the best product to use is mini glue dots. (#103683)  The greetings on both cards were stamped with the basic black archival stamp pad (#140931)

I hope these cards have brought a little summer stamping inspiration.  Now has never been a better time to order summer inspirational stamp sets.  Don't hesitate to contact me or place your order in my online store.

Papercrafting is about preserving memories. I want Papercrafting is about preserving memories. I wanted to make my own DIY frame for a memory keeping of our trip to Banff Alberta! I designed my frame using the Country Woods Designer Series Paper and used @stampinupofficial ‘s Scenic Adventure Bundle and Weekend Adventures collection to embellish. I also made coordinating Polaroid note cards.

I’m obsessed at making these little Polaroid note cards and will add a couple more to my collection.

A huge thank you to the Stampin’ Through the Cat A huge thank you to the Stampin’ Through the Catalog design team for inviting me to be one of this month’s guest designers! I was truly honored!

I made a card using Stampin’ Up!’s Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and paired it with the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and its coordinating Washi Tape.

I went with a fresh, summery palette of Darling Duckling, Flirty Flamingo, Strawberry Slush, and Old Olive.

Did you know @stampinupofficial is having a Creative Challenge this month with fresh In Colors to mix with your go-to classics? Well my card meets the challenge… 💛

What did I use to make this card?

Full details are provided on @stampinthroughthecatalog as well as how Melody, Cindy & Kaitlyn cased some elements and made their own card designs. I love how they explained in details what element inspired them from my card. Go check it out!
