I’m so sad to see that the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is part of the retired list. I have used this paper on so many occasions for different techniques. Today, I choose to colour with the blends. I used the Stampin’Blends in Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. I also used the greetings from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set. I love the chunky greetings. They are perfect for embossing. I embossed the greeting in white embossing powder. The basic black cardstock adds a little punch to the colourful dsp.
It finally feels like spring here in Canada. I’m spending as much time with the girls as possible. Megan is leaving for University in the fall and I cannot see ourselves without her at home. Such a bitter sweet moment. Last night we took a walk around the block. We had so much catching up to do. Megan is planning on “Prom Posing” to her Boyfriend this week. We discussed how she would do the big request. I cannot wait to see the pictures. So many precious memories coming up in the next couple of weeks. I promise to post a picture of her soon.
- Add a little sparkle, I used the clear wink of Stella at the centre of my flower.
