I guess we won't be getting a green Christmas like last year… we are expecting 10-15 cm of snow starting late this evening. I'm hoping I don't need to commute tomorrow and can work from the closest office. I took the opportunity today to stay in my pjs and work on a couple of projects. It felt so good to just stay home. I'm late with my Christmas decorations and Christmas shopping. I think this year it will be mostly online shopping! I've been sick since mid October and finally after 10 days of antibiotics, I'm feeling like myself again. I don't like to take antibiotics but obviously, I needed it! Therefore, I'm much more productive since my health is improving. My Holiday card stash is coming along. If you would like a holiday card from me, send me your mailing address this week. I'd love to finalize my to do card list.
Below you will find a card loaded with embellishments. I just felt like going over the top. It's one of those cards that nothing felt right but in the end fell together. Garden green is not one of my go to colors normally but I am trying really hard to go out of my comfort zone.
My embellishments included:
– warmth & cheer designer washi tape #141994
– mica flakes trio pack #141998, I used the white flakes and adhered them with the fine tip glue pen #138309
– pearl basic jewels #119247
– very vanilla 1/2" lace trim #141672
-warmth & cheer designer series paper stack #141991
Some of these products are on sale right now. Click the link below with all the sales or HERE.
The other products used for this card will be at the bottom of this post.
Here are a couple of additional tips:
I used the paper piercing tool #126189 to make holes around my oval very vanilla cardstock.
I also stamped once on a scrap piece of cardstock the tree before stamping to the oval cardstock so it would be faded.
