Hello/Bonjour!
I hosted my October monthly team meeting, a free evening of crafting fun where my teamies get to craft, win prizes and eat yummy treats. We focused the evening on creating Fun Fold cards for the holidays.
I am loving the rich combination of Cherry Cobbler and Evening Evergreen for my holiday card colors.
Stampin’up!’s Christmas Season Bundle is one of my new favorites. As for my greetings, I used the Merriest Moments bundle that is also available in French, Joyeux Moments.
Here are the 4 different types of folds for this adorable card collection. Shoutout to Wendy Cranford from luvinstampin for the first two designs. I’ve cased and tweaked a little. Wendy has amazing instructions on how to cut these special folds.
Fun Fold Card #1
Tip #1: Stamp in Soft Suede Ink the large pinecone on a piece of scrap paper then stamp on white cardstock. For the second pinecone, stamp directly on top of your first pinecone image. Add Wink of Stella on the stamp pinecone to add extra glitter.
Fun Fact: Did you know if you stamped on a piece of scrap paper an image with Evening Evergreen ink, the second image stamped will look like the Soft Succulent ink Color?
Fold Fold Card #2
To soften the look, I stamped my berries in versamark and used gold embossing powder.
Fun Fold #3
The Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites because it has a combination of soft colors and traditional holiday colors.
Fun Fold Card #4
The annual catalogue has a couple of Christmas collections. I love the Wintry 3D Embossing folder. It coordinates beautiful with the DSP used in this collection.
Be inspired by this amazing color combination:
I sure hope these fun fold cards have inspired you for the holidays.
