Designer Series Paper Sale And Card Idea

Hello Crafters, Bonjour!

Yesterday, we celebrated my oldest daughter’s birthday.  Megan turned 23 years old.  Although she is “adulting”, she is still my baby. Megan purchased her first home with her high school sweetheart.  She is currently doing her Masters in Occupational Health at Ottawa U.  I am such a proud mama.

Megan asked for gift cards for her birthday.  I guess they come in handy when you are a student and want to make your house a home…. I designed a shaker card and a coordinating bag to add the gift cards.  Both projects featured the Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.  Let me tell you that this DSP is better in person then in the catalogue.  It features beautiful images using colors like Basic Black, Bubble Bath, Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, Garden Green, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock.  All the colors are wonderful and beautiful.  On the bonus side, some of the images coordinate with the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack that is on page 147 of the Annual Catalogue.  This beautiful designer series paper is currently on sale for $34,85 instead of $41 and it includes 48 sheets double sided 12″ x12″ sheets.

For my Card and Coordinating bag, I choose a beautiful Color Combination that was inspired from the Designer Series Paper.  Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly are two brand new Stampin’up! Colors.  I paired these two new colors with Night of Navy.  They are truly beautiful colors.
