It’s the most wonderful time of the year. You may have just arrived here from my wonderful and talented friend Kayla MacAulay from Australia. I adore her festive cards for today’s Hop! The Artisan Design Team is taking you on a holiday blog hop featuring the Dashing Along Host Promotion. This promotion is here just on time as Stampin’up!’s holiday catalog is officially here. To sweeten the deal for September’s hostesses, Stampin’up! has made it even more delightful with the exciting Dashing Along Host Promotion. If you host a party with $300 CAD in sales from September 1–30, you’ll earn FREE, exclusive Dashing Along Designer Series Paper. It is one of my favourite holiday DSP. It’s a mix of old favorites and new patterns to bring you beautiful, traditional Christmas paper. This collection of patterns has an eclectic feel and is perfect for layering, and while the newsprint design isn’t Christmas-themed, it is my go to for versatility and I have missed it from not being in the Annual Catalog. The DSP includes 12 sheets: 3 12×12 double-sided sheets (6 total designs); 4 sheets of each design. I’ve used my package already and need more… The coordinating colors are Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Whisper White.
Today, I’ll be sharing a couple of projects, from home decor, gift wrapping to our all time favourites, hand made cards. The Dashing Along Designer Series Paper combined with the Dashing Deer Collection is perfection.
Gift Wrapping:
Use a leftover box at home and wrap the Dashing Along DSP onto the box cover and base. I used my leftover Share What You Love Embellishment Kit Box for this project. Embellish with real greens from your backyard and use the coordinating Dashing Deer Bundle for your greetings and other decor.
Home Decor:
Embellish these beautiful water bottles for your next holiday dinner. Wrapping the dsp around the water bottles adds that special touch. Use images and dies from the Dashing Deer collection. You can use all three bottles as a centre piece too. Just add the decorated bottles to a silver platter. Add a couple of holiday greens and voila!
Cardmaking:
My favorite. I made simple cards featuring the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper. I’ll share more details about these cards in a future post. As I want you to hop along to our other Artisan Design Team members.
I’ve shown you three different ways to use the Dashing Along DSP. Get your hands on this amazing paper since it’s only available for a limited time.

I love these blog hops, and picking up a little idea here and there. Your projects were wonderful, but what caught my eye is the verse stamped as a background on the ovals. Very clever.
