Happy September! My favourite season is just around the corner. There’s something that is so amazing about fall in Canada. I love our traditions of apple picking, pumpkin carving, our maple leaves turning into beautiful rich colors, boots and cozy sweaters and comfort food! I simply adore the bundles, especially the ones that have a vintage feel. The catty has amazing products for every style and every taste for your crafting needs.
I host a monthly team meeting and some of the members of my team came to my home to play with the holiday catalogue products. We stamped with amazing products, enjoyed prize patrol, lots of yummy treats, celebrated some amazing accomplishments and the best part was getting together. We celebrated a pregnancy announcement and hugged the ones we hadn’t seen in a while. We welcomed new members and supported the ones that had difficult challenges in their lives. I love my team, I adore the “get togethers.” Projects do stay simple when the group is large. But I concluded it’s really about getting together and having a fun time.
We started with an ice breaker and had this fun activity. The discussion was what has “stampin’up! allowed me to” or in French, “Stampin’up! m’a permit de” … I did this activity on my Team Facebook Group as well. Here are some of the ideas shared:

The comments that my team shared, made my heart full! Some of these ladies have been with me for the longest time. They have supported me during tough situations like divorce, medical issues, parenting, weddings, moving, crafting. The happy and not so happy stuff. One of our projects was a monochromatic card featuring the the Dashing Deer Bundle. I adore this bundle. It’s available in English and in French in the Holiday Catalogue. I added the All Is Bright Designer Series Paper. It has festive photographic images and comes in lots of colours. I chose the monochromatic neutral colours for today’s card. I embossed the deer for this project. You will want to check back this week. I used the same Dashing Deer bundle but created a very different look.
