August 2026 Color Fuser Blog Hop
Hello Crafters, Bonjour!
Welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop! This time we’re creating with the beautiful color combination of Pool Party, Secret Sea, and Lemon Lime Twist. The moment I saw these colors together, I couldn’t help but think of the stunning iridescent shades of a peacock, making the Natural Artistry Stamp Set the perfect choice for my project.

The Natural Artistry Stamp Set is designed to help you create stunning handmade cards inspired by nature’s beauty. It features beautifully stylized images of a peacock, a seahorse, and an intricate flower, giving you striking focal points for a variety of card designs. The set also includes thoughtful sentiments filled with gratitude, encouragement, and well wishes, making it incredibly versatile for many occasions.
Color Combination:
For my card, I paired the peacock image with the gorgeous new Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder to add texture and movement to the background. To complete the design, I tucked in foliage from the Ferns & Flora Dies, one of my favorite die sets. The delicate greenery perfectly complements the peacock-inspired color palette while adding extra depth and dimension.

One of the things I love most about the Natural Artistry Stamp Set is that it’s a 13-piece photopolymer stamp set. The clear photopolymer stamps make image placement easy and precise, cling securely to clear blocks, and stamp beautifully every time. They can be repositioned as needed and store neatly in their slim protective case, making them a wonderful addition to any craft room.

Instructions to make the peacock card:
- Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock to 4-1/4” x 11” and score at 5-1/2” to create your card base.
- Cut another piece of Basic White Cardstock to 4” x 5-1/4”. Stamp the small speckled image from the Natural Artistry Stamp Set across the background using Pool Party Ink. Adhere this layer to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cut one piece of Secret Sea Cardstock and one piece of Pool Party Cardstock, each measuring 2” x 5”.
- Emboss both pieces using the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder.
- Adhere the Secret Sea panel first. Layer the Pool Party panel slightly lower, allowing both embossed panels to remain visible.
- On a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, blend Lemon Lime Twist Ink using a blending brush. Die cut several foliage pieces using the Ferns & Flora Dies.
- Stamp the peacock image from the Natural Artistry Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Secret Sea Ink. Fussy cut the image.
- Using a Water Painter, add soft washes of Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist Ink to the peacock. Finish with Wink of Stella for a beautiful shimmer.
- Arrange and adhere the peacock and the die-cut foliage to the front of the card.
- Stamp your chosen sentiment from the Natural Artistry Stamp Set onto a strip of Secret Sea Cardstock using VersaMark Ink. Cover with WOW! Bright White Embossing Powder, heat emboss, trim, and adhere the sentiment to the card.
- Tie a double bow using Linen Thread and adhere it to the card.
- Finish your design by adding Shimmering Dots for the perfect touch of sparkle.
Your elegant peacock-inspired card is now complete!
