I’ve designed a bunch of projects with this amazing combo. Take a peek of my first card!
The beauty of this design is you can recreate the look in the Stampin’Up! colour of your choice!
How to create this watercolour look:
- Cut a piece of whisper white cardstock 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 5 1/2 inch
- Cut a piece of soft sky cardstock at 4 inches x 5 1/4 inches and adhere to your whisper white card stock
- Cut a piece of shimmery white cardstock at 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 ( I love to use shimmery white for watercoloring)
- To create the watercoloring look, add Marina Mist ink in your lid of the Marina Mist Classic Ink pad. Use an aqua painter filled with water to blend the ink. Add to your cut shimmery white cardstock. Tip: if you find the shading to light, I like to wait until it dries before I add more ink.
- Once your shimmery cardstock is dry, add to your soft sky card base
- Cut out a circle from the stitched shapes framelits dies in whisper white
- Stamp the flower from the Amazing you Stamp set and cut with Stampin ‘up!’s paper snips. (These snips are THE best for fussy cutting!)
- Embellish your card with the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit and delicate white doilies
- Stamp the word YOU from the Amazing You stamp set in Marina Mist Ink and cut out to mount on your stitched shapes Cardstock. Stamp the words ARE SIMPLY directly on the stitched circle.
- Cut out the word AMAZING from the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies in Silver Foil.
- Assemble the card like the image and don’t forget to add extra pearls for embellishment.
Voila you can make a dozen cards like these in no time! Happy stamping!
