How are you my crafting friends? The month of June is flying by like a blink of an eye. Today, I’m sharing one of the cards from my In Color Club Class. This month, club members received products and created 3 projects using the new In Color Moody Mauve.
My card featured the Fresh As A Daisy Suite on page 110-111 of Stampin’up!’s Annual Catalogue. For my post today, I wanted to highlight this beautiful collection. I love that the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set Coordinates with the Cheerful Daisies Dies. No fussy cutting required…. The stamp set is also available in French and called Marguerites Enjouées. I also designed the card using the coordinating Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper that is currently on sale until the end of the month. You still have a few days left to take advantage of the Designer Series Paper Sale.
My Color Combination:
Do you want to try an easy technique?
Use the blending brushes to add color to your cardstock. The brushes come in two sizes. I used the mini blending brushes.
Blending Ink On Cardstock:
- Add ink to the Blending Brush
- Swirl the inked brush on a die cut image
I have one tip for you: Start adding the inked brush on a scrap piece of paper and move on to your die cut daisy. The ink will blend better to the paper and you won’t have big and bold spots of ink.
Card Making is even better when you embellish the inside of the card. Add your leftover Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper scraps. Add a couple of stamped and die cut daisies and Voilà!
