Lots of Happy Card Kit

in Cardmaking, Creativity on 03/09/18

Did you take a look at the card kit from the Occasion’s catalogue? The second kit I would like to highlight with you this week is the Lots of Happy card kit.

I don’t know about you but I find colouring so relaxing. As I sipped on my coffee today I realize how I struggle sometimes with the fast pace we live in.  It’s so important to take time for ourselves and do the things we love.

Out of all the card models in the kit, I love this design, especially. You can follow the instructions and images or use the kit to create your own designs.  There’s lots to love in this all-inclusive card kit. Create all-occasion cards, then add your own color using the included Watercolor Pencils. Makes 20 cards, 4 each of 5 designs, using the included Lots of Happy Stamp Set
Folded card sizes: 2″ x 3-1/2″, 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″, 4″ x 3-1/2″, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

What’s included in the kit:

  • Includes set of 7 photopolymer stamps
  • clear stamp block
  • 20 printed card bases and coordinating envelopes
  •  giftable kraft box
  • printed, gold foil, white, and vellum die-cut accents
  • white/gold foil labels
  • Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Spot
  • full-size Watercolor Pencils in Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry
  • Lemon Lime Twist 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Ombre Ribbon
  •  Stampin’ Dimensionals

Coordinating colors: Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Sahara Sand

What’s your favorite design? And what standard card size do you use?  Please share your thoughts, I would love to know.

Papercrafting is about preserving memories. I want Papercrafting is about preserving memories. I wanted to make my own DIY frame for a memory keeping of our trip to Banff Alberta! I designed my frame using the Country Woods Designer Series Paper and used @stampinupofficial ‘s Scenic Adventure Bundle and Weekend Adventures collection to embellish. I also made coordinating Polaroid note cards.

I’m obsessed at making these little Polaroid note cards and will add a couple more to my collection.

A huge thank you to the Stampin’ Through the Cat A huge thank you to the Stampin’ Through the Catalog design team for inviting me to be one of this month’s guest designers! I was truly honored!

I made a card using Stampin’ Up!’s Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and paired it with the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and its coordinating Washi Tape.

I went with a fresh, summery palette of Darling Duckling, Flirty Flamingo, Strawberry Slush, and Old Olive.

Did you know @stampinupofficial is having a Creative Challenge this month with fresh In Colors to mix with your go-to classics? Well my card meets the challenge… 💛

What did I use to make this card?

Full details are provided on @stampinthroughthecatalog as well as how Melody, Cindy & Kaitlyn cased some elements and made their own card designs. I love how they explained in details what element inspired them from my card. Go check it out!
