Stampin’up! Sale-a-bration stamp set, Beautiful Peacock coordinates so well with the Eastern Palace Suite from the Annual Catalogue. The Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper has rich colours that remind me of a peacock’s tail. The Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers add a touch of elegance to the Peacock stamped image. I also thought that the Mini Tassels Assortment would blend with these cards. Adding layers to your crafting projects is so much fun. The projects that I’m sharing today have multiple layers and the two collections are a match made in heaven. I also love to use the greetings from the Eastern Beauty stamp set. The font is beautiful and it adds a special touch to the card because it follows the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.
Technique used for the Peacock: Rock & Roll Technique
- Add your Peacock Stamp in Dapper Denim Ink
- Roll slightly on the edges the Peacock stamp in Tranquil Tide ink
- Stamp on your very vanilla cardstock
To complete the envelop card below, use the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies. But instead of making a box, make an envelop. All you need to do is cut one Lots of Love Box instead of two and add dsp to the back of your piece. I find this type of card perfect for gift cards or to use as a love note. Add Gold Glitter Flakes to your Peacock and embellish with Gold Metallic Doilies so both will complement each other.
