You may have just arrived here from my amazing and talented friend Kayla MacAulay from Australia. I adore her cards for today’s Hop!
I chose to showcase the “5 minutes” cards today. Recreate this look to make multiple cards. I challenge you to send 10 cards this month to your family and friends.
5 minutes Card #1:
- Cut a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Whisper White Cardstock and score a 5 1/2
- Cut a 1/2 x 3 1/4 piece of Petal Pink Cardstock
- Cut a 3 1/4 x 5 piece of Night of Navy Cardstock
- With the Night of Navy Ink, stamp the x images from the Stitched All Around Stamp Set onto the Night of Navy piece of cardstock creating a tone on tone look. This adds dimension to your card
- Adhere two two pieces of cardstock to your card base. The Petal Pink piece will show slightly under the Night of Navy
- Use Vellum Cardstock and the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch to punch out a vellum boarder (see tip below)
- Cut a 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Petal Pink Cardstock, add to your card with the Vellum border underneath
- Use the Stitched Labels Framelits as your greeting base in Whisper White Cardstock
- For the Stitched All Around Stamp Set, add the coordinating greeting on top in Night of Navy ink
- You can pop up the word “Thank You” for an extra cuteness overload.
- Add pearls as embellishments
5 Minutes Card #2:
- Cut a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Whisper White Cardstock and score a 5 1/2
- Cut a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Night of Navy Cardstock
- Cut a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 piece of Shimmery White Cardstock
- Watercolor using the Petal Pink ink with an aqua painter onto the shimmery white cardstock
- Once dried up, adhere the cardstock to the other pieces
- Use the Stitched Labels Framelits as your greeting base in Whisper White Cardstock and in Petal Pink Cardstock
- For the Stitched All Around Stamp Set, add the coordinating greeting on top in Night of Navy ink
- Add pearls and the Tea Room Ribbon as embellishments

Tip:
Use the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch on the opposite side (the small scallop) as your border. When I punch out the vellum cardstock, I always add a scrap piece of cardstock to place under the border so my vellum doesn’t get stuck in the punch.
My cards for today’s hop coordinate perfectly with my nails and blankie that I received on Stampin’up! Alaska incentive trip. What is your favorite color combination?
