March 2025 Color Fuser Blog Hop

Hello Crafters, Bonjour!

Time for another Color Fuser Blog Hop. The March Color Fuser Blog Hop features three of the In Colors. Designers can use the new color combination of Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Peach Pie for their crafty projects.

For today’s color challenge, I decided to focus on products from the Annual Catalogue. I choose the Layers of Beauty Bundle with its coordinating Layers of Beauty Masks. I chose this bundle because I felt that the color challenge was perfect for a floral card. I’m hoping it will all get us into the Spring Fever kind of mood. I’m done with this Canadian winter. I feel like spring is near and love the extra hours of sun that we are getting these days.

I also used an old favorite… the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder for the background of the card. I love the texture it creates on the Basic White Cardstock.

Color Combination Used:

Petunia Pop

Summer Splash

Peach Pie

TIP: Apply the masks to the stamped image and add ink with a blending brush to add color to the flowers and leaves.

Instructions to make this card:

Cut a 4 1/4″ x 11 piece of Basic White cardstock and score at 5 1/2″
Cut a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4 ” Basic White cardstock and emboss using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder
Stamp in Black Tuxedo Memento Ink the floral image from the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies.
Using the Layers Of Beauty Decorative Masks (use all four Masks) add the ink featured in the challenge using Blending Brushes.
Stamp a sentiment from the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set with Versamark onto Basic Black Cardstock. Add WOW Pure White Embossing Power and Heat with a Heat Tool.
Embellish with the Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins and make a bow using Linen Thread.
