I have been a little quiet here, missing in action. If you follow me on my socials, you know that the moving truck arrived way earlier than we anticipated. It’s a good thing but we had to tackle it all and put our other plans aside. I must admit, we are a little tired and sore… We managed to get the house back like we wanted it and the only spot left is my crafting studio. It’s looking great. I am going to share a sneak peek with you of a corner of my space. I will be doing a full reveal soon with details. Most of the things, I have accumulated over the 19 years of being a demonstrator.
What’s Happening These Days:
- I am placing all of my tools and stamps today. This section will have all of my current products. It’s the area where I will be designing as well. I have to test wifi and lighting for my Facebook Lives… I’m crossing my fingers that it will all work out.
- With the extra furniture from the move, I have made a little area for coffee & treats. Really, it’s the everything refreshment area. All I am missing is a fridge lol. Should I add a candy station? I would love to have your input. What would you add to make it extra special for my crafting attendees/crafting friends?
- My crafting table has been upgraded for my class attendees. I used our old dinning room table that has two extensions.
- I have a new section for retired products that guests can shop. I have always dreamed of owning my own coffee shop where people can come and craft. Well this will be my mini coffee shop. “smile”
Before all this chaos, I made many projects featuring the Make A Memory Scrapbooking Kit.

A Journal, for today’s creation:
This mini journal can be used for so many things but I thought it could be for my first attempt at Junk Journaling.
What is Junk Journaling?
Junk journaling is a creative, personal, and often whimsical form of journaling that combines scrapbooking, mixed media art, and memory keeping—using both “junk” (recycled or found materials) and traditional craft supplies.
Here’s what junk journaling is all about:
What it includes:
•Old book pages, envelopes, receipts, packaging, fabric scraps, ticket stubs, postcards
•Pretty papers, stickers, stamps, die cuts, washi tape, lace, and ribbons
•Handwritten notes, quotes, doodles, lists, and journaling
Purpose:
•To tell stories, document memories, or express emotions
•To create something artistic without rules
•To up cycle and reuse everyday items in beautiful ways
The journal itself:
•Usually handmade or altered (like an old book, a stitched signature, or a ring-bound journal)
•Filled with pockets, tags, flip-outs, hidden messages, and interactive elements
Why people love it:
•It’s relaxing and therapeutic
•There are no rules—it’s totally your style
•You can use what you already have
•Every page is unique and tells its own little story
