In less than 48 hrs the new stampin’blends will be available to customers. I’m loving these new coloring tools that stampin’up just released and you will love them too! My team and I had the opportunity to play with them on multiple occasions with the pre order for demonstrators! Yes demonstrators get to see and pre order before customers! What an amazing perk!
I created the Christmas in the making class since the designer series paper was on sale, buy 3 get one Free this month. I used the the Christmas around the world dsp since it included one of my favorite color combo for the holidays, cherry cobbler and pool party! If you scroll on Pinterest, there are many different ideas. There’s a similar layout with the two circles on Pinterest. I tweaked it a bit by adding my style! I’m all about the vintage look. Adding doilies, pearls and embossing the paper with the polka dot folder with this amazing stamp set created the look I was going for!
I hope you have on your wish list the Christmas in the making stamp set. It’s perfect to practice coloring images. I tried 3 different looks. I colored the images with the watercolor crayons and blender pens, then with ink from my ink pads and aqua painters, and last with the NEW stampin’blends. The colors were more vibrant with the stampin’ blends. And this is the look I chose to share with you.
Technique: coloring with the stampin’blends:
1- Stamp your image with memento ink onto shimmer paper to create a sparkly look!
2- Color your light shade or dark shade first then blend with the opposite shade (ex if you started with the light pool party, contour with your dark pool party OR contour with your dark and blend your light pool party)
