Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians! On this rainy day I thought it would be the perfect time to share my love for one of the suites from the new annual catalogue from stampinup! When I opened my catalogue more than one month ago, I was ecstatic about the new coffee break suite. You will find below my first project that I created with the collection. The coffee café stamp set # 143677 and coffee cups framelits dies #145331 are available as a bundle and you save 10% off using the code #145331. It’s also available in french for you my french customers. # 145332. The french greetings are adorable, especially : “je carbure au café” #144423 voir l’image plus bas, jeu disponible en français.
I used the large letters framelits #141712 with the coffee break dsp and chipboard. I mounted my die cut letters on the chipboard to create dept to my letters. These framelits letters are a must on your wish list and they coordinate with its own letters for you stamp set #141968. They also have matching numbers available as well called large numbers framelits #140622.
I created a stationary box and added 4 cards, 4 tags and 4 love notes. There is a little dsp pocket to add postage stamps and a booklet to journal in. There is a spot to hold stampin up’s journaling pen #145480 as well. It’s adorable to give as a present to a friend or for yourself lol.
I used stampin up’s new embossing paste # 141979 with the palette knives #142808 and one of the designs from the pattern party decorative masks #144103. You can click HERE, for the instructions on how to mix your paste with stampinup’ s reinkers. I used soft sky reinker #131161 for my sample. I only added one drop of ink with paste the size of a cherry for a soft look.
Kim’s “coup de cœur”: some of the dsp pattern coordinates with the framelits. Look at that top card on your right. Those two little cups where cut with the framelit. How awesome is that!?
Two punches are a must to create the coordinating tags: the scalloped tag topper #133324 and the new ticket tear border #143718
The projects above coordinate with adorable embellishments from p30-31 of the coffee break suite. The 3/8 classic weave ribbon comes in crumb cake #144162, soft sky #144160 and whisper white #144159. I also used the corrugated elements #144158.
If you order your products from me, I’ll send you detailed instructions of the class. Or you can sign up and attend my coffee break suite class.
I hope you enjoyed one of my coffee break projects! Happy stamping!

I love your designs. I am a demo in USA and therefore cannot buy from you and I live too far away to attend class. Could I buy the directions for the box and cards? Thanks so much for sharing.
Sabine Brandes says
Dear Kim,
your cards and boxes are so pretty! I really adore this coffee set too.
Do you remember me? We met in Amsterdam, I gave you the pen "Bines Kreativ-Ecke" (my swap) and told you about my daughter. She is in Canada for work and travel since two weeks.
Many greetings from germany, Sabine
Hope I see you at next OnStage 🙂
Sorry for my terrible english!

hello,
I have a stampin up demonstrator but I enjoy looking at videos and projects from other stampin up demostrators. So I guess then I can't get the instructions for this stationary box 🙁
Debbie Wicklund says
I’d love instructions on making this stationery box. Would you be willing to share?
Kim McGillis says
I’ll try to find them for you. This was a post from a while back!
