April 2026 Color Fuser Blog Hop
Hello My Crafty Friends, Bonjour!
It’s the first Monday of the month…Time for another Color Fuser Blog Hop. The April Color Fuser Blog Hop features a new color combination. Designers can use Secret Sea, Shy Shamrock and Petal Pink for their crafty projects. It is not my typical color combination but I was really excited about this one for April. Secret Sea is my new go to. I use it often instead of Basic Black…

Today’s Card Features: Nature’s Symphony
For today’s project, I created a set of sweet note cards using the Nature’s Symphony Bundle, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. These colors blend together so effortlessly—soft, elegant, and just the right touch of freshness.

This bundle is also available in French and called Symphonie De La Nature.
Card Design Details:
I really wanted to focus on layering and subtle texture for these cards. To add a handmade, dimensional element, I created delicate roses using two-tone cardstock and the 2 3/8” circle punch. It’s such a simple technique, but it adds so much interest and softness to the overall design.
For the foliage, I die-cut the leaf images and then gently blended Shy Shamrock ink over them to give a more natural, shaded look. This small step really brings the greenery to life and ties in beautifully with the color palette.
To complete the cards, I added a few thoughtful details:
- White Pearls of Beauty for a soft, elegant embellishment
- A combination of two different cardstocks along with designer series paper
- Layers created using Square Snippets and Mix-Up Patterns for added depth and visual interest
These elements work together to create cards that feel polished yet still light and airy—perfect for a variety of occasions.
Instructions to make the card:
- Use Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes
- Cut a 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock
- Add Shy Shamrock Ink using a blending brush onto a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and specs of ink with the coordinating Stampin’Blends. Die cut the blended cardstock with the large die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies
- Punch out two Petal Pink Two Tone Cardstock with the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch and cut in a circle motion and shape into a rose.
- Add a piece of Secret Sea Square Snippets Designer Series Paper at the base of the card
- Assemble the layers
- Embellish with pieces from the white Pearls Of Beauty in the middle of the die cut flowers
- Add a Secret Sea Bordered Open Weave Ribbon and make a bow (I cut mine in half)
- Stamp the “Thank You” sentiment from the Nature’s Symphony Stamp Set in Secret Sea Ink onto a Basic White Piece of Cardstock.
- Assemble the card like the image
- Embellish the Envelope by adding Secret Sea Mixed Up Patterns 12″ x12″ Mix-In Designer Series Paper

Color Combination:

I truly love how this color combination came together. The softness of Petal Pink paired with the richness of Secret Sea and the freshness of Shy Shamrock creates such a balanced and versatile palette.
