An Ombre Card Featuring the Scenic Adventure Bundle

Hello My Crafty Friends, Bonjour!

I am featuring a new bundle this week called Scenic Adventure and it’s so fun! I love the versatility with this bundle and plan on making a couple of creations. We kicked off the week with a Facebook Live featuring an Ombre card. It’s a simple card that still has that wow effect! It’s a great technique for beginners using the Blending Brushes.

Day 1: Scenic Adventure Ombre Cards

I have a colorful combination to share with you today. It’s a great reminder of the beautiful Regina, Saskatchewan skies. Our car plates in Saskatchewan say: “Land Of Living Skies” and I completely understand why… While I was there, I kept saying how wonderful and beautiful the sky was. I’ve experienced every season and it was simply stunning. We hardly ever saw clouds. Although I am happy to be home, I miss Regina so much. I miss our lifestyle there, that everything was close, the paths to walk, run, bike, the cute coffee shops, the friendly people and the exotic restaurants.

This was the sky in November 2024 in Regina, SK. We don’t get any skies like this in Ontario in November.

For today’s cards, I’m featuring a bright color combination.

Card #1 Features The Stylish Shape Dies

If you love perfection in a shape image, the Stylish Shapes Dies are a must. I love the little details that these dies have. It looks like stitching.
I used the blending brushes with the 3 inks and added specs of coordinating Stampin’Blends.

Card #2 Features The Around It All Dies

I love the whimsical shape of these dies. It’s so out of character for me. I can’t believe these dies are already on the Last Chance List and they are on sale too. ( Check out below, the image and link is there for these)

You will notice that the flowers are brighter on this card because I used the Peach Pie and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends instead of the Blending Brushes and coordinating inks.
For the birds, I made them using the 0.4 journaling pen. There are three in a package. They are fabulous to write with and for delicate details on a creation.
