Blue is my favorite color and Stampin’up!’s Sun Prints Suite from the annual catalogue has the cutest designer series paper called Sun Prints. It features 3 shades of blue: Pacific Point, Night of Navy and Starry Sky (one of the new in color). It also features Gray Granite (one of my new favorites since it coordinates with a lot of Stampin’up! colors). Today’s projects features the Kraft Gift Box that I have embellished with lots of elements from the Sun Prints Suite. I love filing my boxes with crafting projects. I made multiples of the same card, love note, coordinating envelop and tag to fill up my Kraft box. It’s the perfect gift for a hostess.
Below you will find the color combination for this cute collection.
Creating coordinating boxes for my projects is one of my passions. The Fern 3D Embossing folder adds texture to my Night of Navy Cardstock and creates the perfect background. Add a couple of layers of the coordinating DSP and stamp images from the Nature’s Print Stamp Set in Gray Granite onto the whisper white cardstock. Embellish with stamped images that are die cut with the coordinating Natural Prints Dies, add Gray Granite Ribbon, Linen Thread and Brushed Brass Butterflies. Don’t forget to add a greeting? The font for the greetings is so pretty! I love the delicate circles dies that were used for this greeting and voila!
The same products were used to make a coordinating card.
TIP: Use left over dsp to create your own mini banner for the coordinating tag and add Cardstock Vellum for the background using coordinating Natural Prints Dies.
Tips: Use leftover DSP to embellish the envelops and use embossing powder to emboss on the designer series paper.
