Hello Stampers, Bonjour!
For Valentine’s Day, I got Chris some football ice molds. He loves his football, so I think he was pretty happy. He watches football every Sunday. So we couldn’t miss the Super Bowl. I watched it with him but fell asleep after half time. Ha ha… I wonder what he will do now that the season is done? Actually, maybe he will tackle the Pax Ikea Closets that he has been avoiding… lol. I don’t blame him…
Chris also spoiled me. He bought me flowers for V Day. White flowers are my favorite. I feel like the white roses give a bit of a Spring Vibe in our home. Therefore, I thought I would share a Spring Crafty Project today. The Nested Friends Bundle is perfect for Spring and honestly all year long. Although, it’s currently snowing here and it’s a snow day, I still had the desire to create a card for the next season.
On today’s blog post, I’m showcasing 3 card ideas that are designed with the same bundle. I hope you love them. Card #2 is my favorite. Let me know which one is yours. You can add it in the comments below or message me.
Card #1 is for a Beginner Stamper:
For this card, I used the Nested Friends Bundle, a strip from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper. I stamped with the Black Staz On Ink and coloured with the blends. I added Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins. I adore the little eggs. I coloured them with the Petal Pink Blends and added the specs from the Nested Friends stamp set with my Crumb Cake Blends. Yes, I used the blends to color my stamp. No ink needed today except for the Staz On.
Card #2 is for the Casual Stamper:
For the second card, I did the same steps as the beginner card but added a scallop Sahara Sand Cardstock piece. The scallop die is from the Penned Flowers Dies. This card is MY FAVORITE. The simple scallop border added so much to this project. The eggs and leaves were also coloured with the blends. If you have instagram, I have a Reel on how to create this card. Card #3 is for the Avid Stamper:
This card, I went all in…. ha ha. The bird, eggs and nest were made like the other cards above. I used One of the Embossing Folder that is only available for demonstrators currently. It’s part of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. We, demonstrators get to order ahead of time. I love preorders…. If you are not a demonstrator, I did give you an alternate option below, The Cave Wave 3D. I still used the Abigail Rose DSP. I added ribbon that I coloured with my blends and twine too. I used the same sequins. My Petal Pink circle frame is from the Frame Florets Dies.
