Happy Mother’s Day to you! I just realized that Mother’s Day has a different date if you are from another country. If yours has already gone by, then it’s a happy belated Mother’s Day… Well today in Canada, we celebrate this important day. I hope you do something special for your special day. It’s early here and I have already been spoiled again from my husband Chris. We are early risers and this morning Chris surprised me with a special memorable gift for Mother’s Day. We don’t have children together but he does get to see me daily with my daughters. He sees me rushing on a daily basis and most days that I have to wear my super mom cape. Regardless of the reason, I’m always there for my daughters and make sure they are choosing the right path, wipe their tears, listen when they need to be listened and so forth. As the girls are getting older, Motherhood is taking an even bigger importance in a way. Big decisions are arising for their adulthood. I wish I could stop time for a couple of hours…
For today’s post, I wanted to highlight my Mother’s Day Watercoloring card featuring the Peek Through Technique. This is a card that uses the new inks from Stampin’up!’s revamp colors.
Colors Used For Watercoloring:
- Highland Heather
- Backberry Bliss
Tip: To achieve a lighter shade, I off stamped once my flowers that contained the Blackberry Bliss on a scrap piece of paper before stamping on my watercoloring paper.
