January 2026 Color Fuser Blog Hop
Hello My Crafty Friends, Bonjour!
It’s the first Monday of the month…Time for another Color Fuser Blog Hop. The January Color Fuser Blog Hop features a new color combination. Designers can use Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon and Gold Foil for their crafty projects. I’ll be honest… this color challenge scared me a little… I don’t reach out for Gold Foil too often! Doing these color challenges is one of my favorite thing each month since it makes me create out of my comfort zone.
Today’s Card Features: Joyful Squares Bundle
For today’s challenge, I used a couple of Products from the New upcoming catalogue that will be available on January 6th:
- Joyful Squares Bundle
- Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack
I used the Joyful Squares Bundle and paired it with the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper. The scallop Image comes from the Joyful Squares Dies. I used the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack to add that touch of gold. The envelope was also embellished with the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper.
Instructions to make the card:
- Cut a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Basic White Cardstock and score at 5 1/2″
- Cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock
- Add Petal Pink Ink using a blending brush and add the specs of Petal Pink Ink using the Stampin’Blends
- Cut a 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper
- Die cut the scallop image using the Joyful Squares Dies with the Lost Lagoon Two Tone Cardstock
- Assemble the layers
- Embellish with pieces from the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack and the white Pearls Of Beauty
- Add Black & White & Gold Bakers Twine and make a bow
- Add a sentiment from the Joyful Squares Stamp Set using Lost Lagoon Ink and fussy cut the sentiment
- Assemble the card like the image
