May Color Fuser Blog Hop

Hello Crafters, Bonjour!

The Month of May brings the launch of a new catalogue as well as a new color fuser blog hop. So many new products to create with. My craft room is between two homes currently so I am limited on what I can design with until my new order arrives. Today’s challenge has an adorable color combination. I can’t wait to see all the fun projects.

Hop around the world with our group of talented demonstrators. We’ve created designs from our May color challenge using Stampin’up! Colors. This color challenge theme is totally up my alley. I love the richness of colors in this color combination. I saw the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle sitting on my desk and said to myself why not…

You don’t want to miss our May color challenge which focuses on a beautiful trio combo. The Color Combination of Bubble Bath, Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path.

For today’s hop, I went with a simple Basic White Card featuring Stampin’up!’s Thoughtful Wishes Bundle .

Color Combination:

Bubble Bath

Moody Mauve

Pebbled Path

Instructions to make the Thoughtful Wishes card:

Score a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Basic White Cardstock at 5 1/2″
Layer on the right side of the cardbase a 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper
Layer on the left side of the dsp a 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Pebbled Path Cardstock that has been torn on the edge
Layer a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Basic White Cardstock
Add Bubble Bath Ink with a Blending Brush on the white piece of cardstock
Add specs of Moody Mauve Ink using the stamp with specs from the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set
Die cut images from the Thoughtful Wishes Dies in Bubble Bath and Basic White Cardstock
Color the die cut basic white image using a water painter brush and the Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path Ink and add Wink of Stella on the flowers for additional bling
Stamp in Pebbled Path Ink the greeting from the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock and add to the card
Embellish with a Linen Thread bow

** Use leftover Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper to embellish the envelope.
