January is flying by like a blink of an eye. I normally don’t like the month of January but this year it hasn’t been too bad. The weather is mild and I love being outdoors. Although we are not getting much sun these days. Either we get a mild day with no sun or a cold sunny day.
This weekend I took some time for some self care. Riley (my golden retriever, she’s a girl) and I went on a 6 k walk in the woods. It was beautiful. She loves not needing to be on a leash and run free. I have to say, walking in the fluffy snow is more of a workout than the gym…. My cheeks were pinkish and Riley’s paws were covered in snow. She loves it. She did miss her daddy who was gone to Vermont for the weekend. Speaking of Chris being away in the United States, I have to give him a shout out for stopping at targets to pick up things for me so I could spoil my customers. He is the best.
I wanted to share with you today a fancy fold card using the beautiful Suite called Country Floral Lane. It is also available in French and called “Balade Champêtre”.
The Country Floral Lane 12×12 Designer Series Paper is stunning and also usable all year long. It’s not too valentinish… I especially love this little bicycle. I fussy cut the bicycle image to embellish the inside of my card. The heart image below is from the dsp as well. The coordinating punch from this collection fits perfectly with the dsp heart image. Also available is a coordinating designer paper in 6x 6 called Country Gingham. In the new Mini Catalogue, on page 61, you will find the Alphabet A la Mode Dies. These are a must to add for carmakers or even scrapbookers. The largest dies measure 1 9/16″ x 15/16. You can add the word of your choice in any language, oh la la…. it’s simply genius. For this card I added the word AMIE which means friend in English.
The coordinating Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins are darling on this card. The word adhesive-backed is important to highlight here. No need to add fancy glues to stick these beautiful sequins to your projects.
