Beautiful Promenade Blog Hop

I’m so excited about our Artisan Design Team Hop Today! The Petal Promenade Suite is simply stunning.  Stampin’up!’s designer captured colorful blooms in the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set but also in the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  The assorted Petal Promenade Cardstock Pack combines a rich combo of colors which is right up my top choices (Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink and Thick Very Vanilla).  To add to this beautiful collection are the embellishments.  I adore the Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems and the Metallic Thread. They add a special touch of elegance to cards or memory keeper projects.

We have a variety of projects to showcase for you today.

As much as it was tempting to showcase cards today, I couldn’t resist creating a mini album that I could carry around in my purse or keep on my coffee table as a memento.  Being a mom of 3 daughters, the Petal Promenade Suite reminds me of them.  It brings me back to the memories of my daughters growing up.  As you may see from this recent picture, I don’t have babies anymore 🙁 “happy sad face”

Have you ever organized a photoshoot with your kids?  This was my yearly tradition when my daughters were young.  I chose pictures from Jordan’s photoshoot to add to my album today. The beautiful pink, peach and yellow roses reminded me of  the Petal Promenade DSP.

There is a list of products used at the bottom of my post from the Petal Promenade Suite.  But, I also wanted to add other products that I felt would coordinate beautifully with the Petal Promenade Suite:

• Ruffled Embossing Folder
• Whisper White 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon

If you aren’t a fan of scrapbooking, you could easily create this album but instead of adding pictures, you can add cards or tags and give this bundle as  a hostess gift.

I fussy cut the dsp for the cover of my album and also added Jordan’s face in one of the dsp pattern paper.

At the center of my album, I embellished using the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set and it’s coordinating Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies. This collection is also available in French.
