Hello Crafters, Bonjour!

Happy Friday! Have you been anxiously awaiting for the weekend as much as me? I’m a little busy bee preparing to launch my retired sale. If you are Canadian, you might want to join me in my private Facebook group where I’ll be selling lots of retired products. So stay tuned. I’ve been trying to keep my mind busy following the news that our sweet golden retriever Riley has sarcoma. Chris found a mass on her Sunday and we had it tested on Monday. The call came in from our favorite vet on Tuesday evening. The news were not positive…. Chris is away for a couple of weeks and being apart during this difficult time has been really really hard. We found out of the bad news the day I drove him to the airport. Chris is Riley’s favorite human. She does love her momma especially for her daily routine, for caring and when she is sick but he is a dog whisperer and has a special touch and bond with her. I’ve been tearing up lots and not sleeping too great and going over and over in my head what could I have done differently to prevent this. Please keep Riley in your prayers. I’ll be meeting with the vet to see what are the next steps.

Crafting has been my way of getting my mind occupied and gathering in person and virtually has been a positive way to get me smiling a little. I wanted to share a project that I made during my live with my team. I’m grateful for them and also appreciate their support, for listening, caring and for understanding my pain and seeing me in a not so fun kind of way with my little red nose and tears during this difficult time. On a positive note, I designed another cute project featuring the Country Flower Bundle. I love designing stationeries. I used the coordinating designer series paper called Country Lace from the Country Woods Suite Collection. It’s on page 50 and 51 of the new Annual Catalogue.
