Celebrating something extra special for this week’

Celebrating something extra special for this week’s Mail It Monday InstaHop, a little package for my daughter…

I decided to share a meaningful project I created for my daughter, Lauren, who recently got engaged 💍✨

This sweet little personalized box, featuring @stampinupofficial ‘s Party Alphabet Dies, the Artisan Sketch Garden DSP and Words & Wishes Bundle, has been transformed into an engagement memory keeper mini album with fun pull-up tabs to capture all those beautiful moments.

A few of my favorite details include the polka dot personalized letter, the ruched two-tone cardstock with handmade stripes, the embossed and layered cake for a softer look, and the pullouts where you can add so many photos.

A project from the heart for a moment we’ll never forget!

✨ DIY Ruched Ribbon with Paper – Easy & Stunning! ✨

Don’t have the perfect ribbon for your project? No problem at all — just make your own!

Using designer series paper or two-tone cardstock, you can create the most beautiful ruched ribbon effect in minutes. I used @stampinupofficial ‘s Artisan Sketch Garden Designer Series Paper. Here’s how:

Quick steps:
• Break the fibers in the two-tone cardstock or designer series paper with a bone folder
• Add Tear & Tape where you want your ribbon
• Gently gather the paper to create soft ruched waves

And that’s it! You’ve just created a custom ruched ribbon that perfectly matches your project.

I absolutely love how this technique adds texture, movement, and a handmade touch to any card or creation.
