The Peek Through Technique featuring Stampin'up!'s Move Me Thinlits Dies

One of the most exciting thing part of the Artisan design team is Tip Tuesday. You are all so talented and it is so fun to find tips to remind how much rubberstamping has extra advantages compared to non stamping crafts. Rubberstamping is my favourite! I love to get reminded with amazing tips for my crafting needs. I love the Eclipse Technique. I used it often with the Large Letters Framelits Dies. I’d love to share with you another way to use the Large Framelits.

Stampin’up!’s Move Me Thinlits Dies paired with the Large Letters Framelits Dies makes the perfect combination to create a peek through element to your creations. The Move Me Thinlits Dies is on the retiring list. You will want to get your hands on these once you see how beautiful this technique can be.

Peek Through Technique Instructions:

Cut a word with the Large Letters Framelits using a Big Shot
Keep the contour piece of cardstock from your die cut word
Run a second piece of cardstock through the Big Shot using the grid die from the Move Me Thinlits
Add the grid piece of cardstock behind the contour piece to achieve the Peek Through Technique

Stamp your favourite images from any stamp set on your card base. For this card, I used the retiring set Blooms & Wishes. This set is by far another one of my favourites. I’m sad that it’s retiring. The flower images were so easy to layer on each other. I especially loved the font from the greetings. This is a must set to add on your wish list before it retires on May 31st.

I used retiring inks as well. My goal was to create a pinkish/purplish floral arrangement. This card is perfect for Mother’s Day or a Birthday. My colour combination used is listed below. Isn’t this ink combination beautiful together? Don’t forget to stash up on these colours in ink, ink refill, cardstock, markers and embellishments.
