Hi! I’m Kim McGillis, the Founder and Designer of Kim McGillis Papercrafting. Welcome to my blog!
I am a Canadian Designer. I speak English and French. I wish I could speak Dutch, as my mother was born in Holland.
I have been a Stampin’up! demonstrator for Nineteen amazing years. Over the years, my journey as a demonstrator has attained different levels. I initially joined for the discount, met numerous new friends through my classes, workshops and Stampin’up events which led me to many accomplishments; these include ranking#3 demonstrator of the year in Canada and being a Founder’s Circle member in 2011, earning the 2012 and 2025 Walt Disney Trip, the 2011 and 2018 Alaska cruise and the 2010 Southern Caribbean Cruise. My favorite achievement was winning the workshop of a lifetime recruiting challenge in 2010; welcoming in my home the co founder and CEO, Shelli Gardner and her daughter Sara Douglass, who is the present CEO, was a blessing. I will treasure those memories forever. I was nominated to represent the 2018 and 2025 Stampin’ Up!’s Artisan Design Team among 19 other demonstrators worldwide. I am so grateful for so many beautiful opportunities!
I am married to the love of my life, Chris. He is my rock and I am truly blessed that he has crossed my path. We have a fur baby named Riley, our white golden retriever. My daughters and I are truly grateful for his presence in our lives.
I have 3 beautiful daughters Megan, Lauren and Jordan.
My crafting style is vintage chic with a dash of softness! I’ve always been drawn to Stampin’up!’s products that include lace, pearls and vintage stamp sets. If you would like crafting inspiration, please follow my blog. There are many reasons to attend one of my stamping events, host a crafting party or even join my team.
