June 2026 Color Fuser Blog Hop
Hello my crafty friends, Bonjour!
Welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating the beautiful new 2026–2028 In Colors from Stampin’ Up!, and I am so excited to be joining the hop.

For my project, I chose to feature Hydrangea Hue, the very first color I selected for my In Color Club. There was something about this soft, elegant shade that immediately caught my eye, and I knew I wanted to create something special with it.
Even though I’m away this week, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to participate in the challenge and share some creative inspiration with you.

For this project, I created a sweet little holder for square cards. I paired the gorgeous Bloom Boutique Collection with the new 12″ x 12″ In Color Designer Series Paper, allowing Hydrangea Hues to take center stage. The delicate floral elements from the Bloom Boutique Collection work beautifully with the coordinating designer paper, creating a project that feels both fresh and elegant.
New 2026-2028 In Colors

To create the die cut pieces, I used a simple watercolor blending technique. I started by applying Hydrangea Hue ink to Basic White Cardstock using a Blending Brush, creating a soft and even layer of color. Once I was happy with the coverage, I used a Water Painter to add small amounts of water, allowing the ink to move and blend naturally across the cardstock. This technique creates beautiful variations in color and gives the background a soft watercolor effect that perfectly complements the floral elements of the project.

Since the box holds four cards, I wanted each card to feel unique while still coordinating as a set. I incorporated a variety of techniques throughout the cards, including different ink-blending effects, layering, texture, and design elements. Using multiple techniques allowed me to showcase the versatility of Hydrangea Hue while creating a cohesive collection of cards that work beautifully together.
One of my favorite things about the new In Colors is how easily they coordinate with other products in the catalogue. The subtle patterns in the Designer Series Paper add texture and interest while letting the beautiful Hydrangea Hue shine.
I hope this project inspires you to experiment with the new In Colors and create something unique of your own. Be sure to continue along the Color Fusers Blog Hop to see how the other talented designers have showcased these beautiful new colors. There is so much inspiration waiting for you!
