February 2026 Color Fuser Blog Hop

Hello My Crafty Friends, Bonjour!

It’s the first Monday of the month…Time for another Color Fuser Blog Hop. The February Color Fuser Blog Hop features a new color combination. Designers can use Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath and Balmy Blue for their crafty projects.  I love this color combination for February.

Today’s Card Features: The 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat 

For today’s challenge, I used the Virtual Card Making Retreat Kit.  I adore the stamp sets that come in the kit and the dies.  These are exclusive to the retreat and now I have them to use on alternate creations.  My favourite is the script stamp.

The Virtual Card Making Kit is also available in French and called:  Escapade De Carterie Virtuelle

Instructions to make the card:

• Cut a 4 1/4″ x 11″  piece of Basic White Cardstock and score at 5 1/2″
• Cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock
• Die cut in Basic White Cardstock a banner from the Party Banner Dies
• Stamp the script in Versmark and heat emboss the Bright Wow Embossing Powder
• Add Fresh Freesia  Ink using a blending brush
• Stamp in Fresh Freesia Ink the long stripe image from the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat Stamp Set at the top of the banner
• Stamp the Large flower image from the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat in Versamark and heat emboss with Bright White Embossing Powder. Add Fresh Freesia  Ink using a blending brush and the Stampin’Blends, fussy cut the flowers
• Die cut the foliage and flowers using the coordinating Dies.  Add color using the blends in Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Balmy Blue
• Assemble the layers
• Embellish with pieces from the white Pearls Of Beauty
• Add Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon and make a bow (this ribbon is on sale and on the last chance list)
• Add the “Bloom” sentiment from the Sweet Blooms Dies in Basic White
• Assemble the card like the image
• Embellish the Envelope by adding Fresh Freesia Two-Tone Cardstock and stamp the large flower image in Fresh Freesia Ink
